Experience the joy of flying a 150 HP Cessna 150. Rate of climb up to 1,000 FPM or more! According to the owner, with 38 gallons of fuel (35 usable) you can cruise at 110 knots on 8 GPH. Check out this article to hear thoughts from an actual owner of a 150/150.
The engine is just 520 SMOH. Compressions at the last annual were 73/80, 75/80, 72/80 and 73/80.
Compete logs and records. No damage history!
The panel is above average for a Cessna 150: PSE6000 Intercom/Audio Panel, dual push-to-talk, Narco Mark 12D digital nav/com (no glideslope), GTX320 Altimeter, new compass, EGT/CHT, amp/volt indicator, excellent wind-up 8 day clock, yoke mounts hard wired for both the Garmin gps496 and the Garmin Aera. The panel is back-lit with a Nulite instrument lighting system. 12 volt outlet is fused for powering electronic accessories. With the new addition of the KX-155 w/GS and King DME, you have a great IFR Trainer!
The aircraft has 38 gallon extended range fuel (35 gallons usable). Gross weight is 1600 lbs. Empty weight is 1126.74 pounds. It has a vernier style mixture control cable for very precise leaning, even when the ride is bumpy, for best fuel economy.
The owner had an extensive annual completed in October 2012. Fresh Annual as of December 2014. The aircraft is mechanincally solid and well maintained.
The paint is bright shiny but could use some touch-up. The interior is serviceable but showing its age. See the photos. You can use it for a time builder or trainer as is. There are some split seams on the seats and the trim has flaws typical of that vintage aircraft.
